File setup
Sending your own artwork? Set it up like this and it prints exactly as you see it. Mahi AI and our team do all of this for you.
- FILE TYPES
- PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD
- RESOLUTION
- 300 dpiAt the final printed size.
- COLOUR
- CMYKGreyscale is fine for black and white books.
- BLEED
- 0.125" on every sideExtend backgrounds and photos past the trim.
- Bleed. The colour runs past the edge so no white shows after cutting.
- Trim. Where the card is cut.
- Safe area. Keep text and logos inside it.

Proofs and payment
Nothing is printed until you have seen it and said yes.
Your proof
Every order gets a proof showing exactly what will print. Approve it, or ask for changes first.
Design charges
Business cards have a flat $15 design fee. For everything else, design charges are quoted once we've seen the file and what you need.
Payment
We confirm how and when to pay with your order or quote. Signs and larger jobs may need a deposit before work starts.
Prices and tax
Prices are in Canadian dollars and before GST. The price you see online is the price for the options you pick.
