The terms that apply when you order from Mahi Printing & Signage Ltd.

1. Ordering and quotes

These terms apply to every order you place with Mahi Printing & Signage Ltd., online, by phone, by email or in the shop. Placing an order means you accept them.

An order is confirmed when you approve your proof. Quotes are based on the details you give us and are valid for the period shown on the quote; if the job changes, the price may change too.

2. Proofs and approval

Every order gets a proof before anything is printed. Please check it carefully: spelling, phone numbers, addresses, dates, prices, colours and layout.

Once you approve a proof, we print exactly what it shows. We're not responsible for mistakes in an approved proof, so ask for changes before you say yes.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include GST or any other applicable taxes. Prices shown online are for the options listed; anything extra is quoted separately.

Design work is charged as stated: a flat fee for business cards, and quoted after review for other products.

We confirm how and when to pay with your order or quote. Signs and larger jobs may need a deposit before work begins. We can hold an order until payment is made.

4. Turnaround and pickup

Turnaround times are in business days and start once your proof is approved and any payment due is received. They are our best estimate, not a guarantee; we'll let you know if something is delayed.

Orders are picked up at our shop in Jacksonport Square, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please collect your order within a reasonable time once we tell you it's ready.

5. Your artwork and content

You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us or put in a design, including logos, photos, fonts and text, and that it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.

We may decline work we believe is unlawful, offensive or infringes someone else's rights. Designs made for you remain yours to use once the order is paid.

For signs, you are responsible for any landlord approval, and we'll tell you if a permit is likely to be needed for the job.

6. Colour and print tolerances

Colours on screen and on a printed proof can look different from the finished job, and slight variations between print runs, paper stocks and materials are normal. Small differences in colour, trimming or cutting are not considered defects.

7. Reprints and refunds

If something is wrong because of our mistake, tell us as soon as possible, before you use or hand out the items. We'll reprint the affected items or refund what you paid for them.

Because every job is printed to order, we can't offer refunds for a change of mind, or for errors in a proof you approved. Our responsibility for any order is limited to the price paid for it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
